Meet Jordan Lundell, the Newest Member of the Osmond Marketing Team

Jordan’s awesome writing and interpersonal skills make her a natural fit on our project management team. “I love her passion for writing and telling a good story,” says Emily Woll, COO at Osmond Marketing. “Since her first day on the job, Jordan stands out as an effective problem solver, and a team player.”

We wanted to learn more about our newest project manager. Here is what we learned about Jordan and her journey to Osmond Marketing.

Tell us a little bit about yourself? Hobbies? Experiences? Educational background?

Hi, I’m Jordan! Born and raised in Utah, I moved to Atlanta, GA, right before my senior year of high school and initially hated it. However, after deciding to attend the University of Georgia to stay close to my family, I absolutely fell in love with it. I proudly graduated in May 2020 with a degree in English and a minor in Spanish (I love language) and have stayed in Athens, GA, since then, where I can easily cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs football team.

Besides watching GA football with my friends, I also love reading, writing stories, spending time outdoors, hanging out with my family and boyfriend, and traveling.

One of my favorite experiences was studying abroad at the University of Oxford in England during the summer of 2019, where I got to appreciate a beautiful city while meeting some great people. I have visited countries all over Europe, including Switzerland, Scotland, England, Belgium, France, and Italy. My next dream spot is somewhere in Asia; I would love to visit Tokyo or Kyoto someday!

What was your first job ever? Did you enjoy it? No? Why or why not?

My first ever job was selling silver coins on eBay. Although it became a little boring after repeatedly listing the same information on each coin, I didn’t mind the work. It was super exciting every time a coin sold for a good price!

What brings you to Osmond Marketing?

I was first drawn to Osmond Marketing because of the passion I have for telling stories. I wanted to branch out of the writing I had been doing for years and pick up on new ways to tell different stories in the most interesting way possible. After learning more about the company, I was drawn in by the challenging work, amazing people, and opportunities for growth.

Now that you’ve been here a while, what do you like about working at Osmond Marketing?

There are a lot of things I enjoy about working at OM! I love the challenge each project presents, especially when it’s one that gets me out of my comfort zone a bit. I also love the diversity of the projects I’m working on; I always have a new way to stretch my skills and learn something new. On top of that, everyone is a joy to work with! I have really appreciated getting to know everyone on the team.

What skills do you bring to OM?

While I’m also a strong writer, I’d say my greatest skill is probably my determination. I love to challenge myself, take everything head-on, and constantly work to be better at the things I care about. It also helps that I’m super passionate about writing and language; that makes the job even better.

What goals do you hope to achieve by working here?

I want to constantly be growing and learning how to do something new. Someday, I’d love to finish writing and publish a book. Constantly flexing my writing abilities has already improved my writing in other areas of my life. I hope to continue to see this growth in myself and my skills.

If you are playing two truths and a lie, what fools your friends every time?

  • I have been an extra in a movie.
  • I’ve broken my arm three times, and each situation involved a couch.
  • I took Chinese in high school, then minored in Spanish in college.

The lie is that I’ve been an extra in a movie, though I would absolutely love to do that someday!

My friends are always so shocked to find out that it’s true I have broken my arm three times AND that all three situations had something to do with a couch. I don’t blame them; it’s honestly absurd.
