Osmond Marketing is pleased to introduce Sarah Hilton as the new director of advisory services for its skilled nursing practice. This appointment is part of the company’s mission to hire strategic talent for its growing healthcare customers. Hilton joined the company February 1, 2018.
Hilton brings nearly 20 years of healthcare experience to Osmond Marketing. She worked from 2001 to 2005 as a CNA at skilled nursing facilities in Orem and Bountiful, Utah. Hilton then received her RN degree from Weber State University in 2005 and served from 2005 to 2015 as a geriatric charge nurse in a skilled nursing facility and at an inpatient surgical rehab center. Following her work as a charge nurse, she became a cardiac charge nurse at LDS Hospital, where she managed the patient flow of the unit and cared for patients with cardiac and/or thoracic illnesses.
Hilton also worked for several years as an emergency room nurse at LDS Hospital where she gained a broad experience serving the needs of a variety of patients. She also worked as a pre-op and post-op nurse at Intermountain Medical Center. For the past eight years, she has served as a cardiac care coordinator at the University of Utah, working closely with physicians, case managers, pharmacy representatives and cardiac rehab specialists to ensure patients received the best education about cardiac health, procedures, surgeries and follow-up care.
“We are thrilled to have Sarah join us at Osmond Marketing,” said Emily Woll, COO. “Our 300-plus healthcare clients will be able to benefit greatly from Sarah’s expertise as a nurse. Her broad background, industry expertise and leadership skills give her the ability to strategically advise clients concerning best practices surrounding healthcare marketing, regulations and the ecosystem as a whole.”
Hilton will join the executive team to oversee strategic consulting surrounding healthcare marketing. This will allow Osmond Marketing to augment its current delivery services with strategic guidance from an industry expert. Osmond Marketing expects to grow the strategic portion of its healthcare practice under Hilton’s guidance.
“I am excited to join the team at Osmond Marketing,” Hilton said. “I am looking forward to using my skills in a setting outside of hospital and patient care to serve healthcare providers in their marketing efforts. I believe that being on the receiving end of what marketing has done for hospitals and skilled nursing gives me a unique perspective, and I’m excited to share firsthand what has worked and not worked for case managers and physicians, as well as patients and their families. I believe that this insider knowledge will benefit the clients of Osmond Marketing and allow them to better serve their own patients, families and the healthcare community as a whole.”
